We still are just doing NextStep b/c Harm is behind on weight.  We use mainly only sippy cups and straw cups... unless he fell or is really PO'd... than we go for the bottle for comfort.

We switched to soy milk without a hitch last week.  We're still working on ditching the bottles - we're doing two or three sippy cups and one or two bottles a day.  I hope to be completely off of the bottle in another month.

I'm switching DD to Next Step until her 1-year visit which is in a week. She's a picky eater and doesn't eat a whole lot, so I think we'll probably do 1/2 Next Step 1/2 milk.. We'll see what the pedi says.

As far as bottles go.. well, she's not very good w/ a sippy cup yet, so again, I'm going to see what the pedi says about that. I don't have a problem w/ keeping her on a bottle first thing in the morning and before bed, then working w/ the sippy cup in between.

I have Addyson down to 1 bottle a day and starting the day after her birthday. No more bottles and will be introducing her to whole milk.  She loves her sippy cup but she has never had milk or formula in it.

we re gonna introduce milk this week, hopefully it goes well.  ben hasnt had a bottle in months, although hes still mastering the sippy.  i should get some others to try out probably.  and hes still nursing 4-8 times a day (i m hoping adding milk will help cut that back.)

I'm slowly transitioning him to whole milk, first I did 1/4 milk 3/4 formula, now I'm up to 1/2 and 1/2.  He only gets 1 bottle a day at this point, I'm still BFing.  I need to get him onto a sippy full time, so that's my next step.

We're doing 2 bottles a day with 3-4 oz of whole milk and 4-5 oz of formula.  She seems to be taking it well with no tummy issues.

Haven't done bottles here in 2 months.  DD was the one that made the transition faster than I was ready for by refusing bottles.

We are all whole milk (2 8oz cups a day) now with one sippy (8oz) of next step (whatever its called:P) in the morning, just to make sure she hits everything for the days she decides not to eat dinner...which while teething is more days than I wish to count.

We made the switch for both at 11 months but then back tracked when I had my surgery. We got him back on Milk and just yesterday, he went a full day with no bottle.

I'm still BF but I have been giving him whole milk in a straw cup.. he never took bottles.

Just had our one year checkup this morning. ?So I will start transitioning to milk in the next day or so. ? DD loves her sippy with water - so I have my fingers crossed that she will like it with milk. ?When you are still doing some formula and some milk do you serve them separately or combine them? ?(Should have asked that this morning!)

Switched to whole milk at 10.5 months b/c they don't have Similac Sensitive here and I didn't want to switch formulas, then switch to milk.  Pedi okayed it. Vivi drinks from cups at meals, but any other time she wants her bot. If I try to give her a sippy, she looks at it like "what the he!! is this?" and throws is down. So...we'll see. I'll probably post asking for tips in a few weeks about how to transition. She LOVES her bot.

We introduced milk and he takes his milk out of his bottles during the day but I still do formula for morning and night. DS jsut started daycare a month ago since I went back to work, so for now we are sticking with bottles as I didn't want too many changes all at once. Plus DS is not good with drinking milk out of the sippy.

K's still boycotting all sippies. And tablefood. We haven't had her 1yr pedi appointment yet, so I'm holding off on cow's milk until then.

I have about another week's worth of frozen breastmilk and then after that is all used up we will be switching to whole milk. 

I think it will be a while before we wean from the bottle, however.  DS has no clue of how to use a sippy cup.  Whenever I give him one he just chews on it.  He doesn't understand that he is supposed to suck on it.  We have tried two different kinds and no luck so far.

I have a lot of formula leftover that people have given me. I would really rather not waste it, so I am thinking of going with cows milk for day time in the sippy and formula for morning and bedtime bottle.

We are mixing her formula with milk just to use up the formula.  She takes milk just fine as long as it's not cold.

We are not weaning off the bottle just yet b/c we don't think she's ready.  She does okay with the sippy but she mostly plays with it and chews on it.  Our plan is to get off formula and then re-evaluate the bottle situation.  We're hoping to be done with bottles by 15 months.

yes, we are in the process of switching over to whole milk. DS gets 2 sippys per day now of milk and still gets his bottle of formula at night (for now). I am hoping to wean off the bottles completely within the next month b/c he is doing so well with the process so far. Hope you are all doing well too!

We switched to cow's milk two weeks ago and it went really well.  We went cold turkey and he never batted an eye.

Started the bottle weaning two days ago and I thought it wouldn't work.  He threw some major fits but then suddenly he didn't care!  Looks like we are on sippies now.  Hooray!

Reese is still breastfed 4 times a day, but I started whole milk last week in hopes of weaning soon, she is defintely not a fan and takes a sip or two and then refuses the rest, I'm not in any rush, but it would be nice to be able to give her milk

We switched over to cow's milk with no issues; it took three weeks.  We're still using bottles and sippies, but DS really prefers to drink out of an open cup.  So they practice with him at daycare.  I was forced to wean him starting a week-and-a-half ago b/c of a surprise business trip, so now he just gets cow's milk.
