Anyone else not telling the name

of their DC yet? ?I've heard so many stories of people "stealing" names that I've decided not to tell the baby's name at this point. ?Plus we know a couple of people who are pregnant right now. ?I'm pretty sure after we find out the sex of our baby then we'll be using his/her name instead of "the baby." lol

We don't have a name, but when we do, we won't be telling.  Not because of ppl stealing, but because of all the opinions, I just don't want to hear it!

?That's another reason we're not telling. ?The names we've chosen may be "different" for our family and we also don't want their opinions on the matter.?

We arent telling, at least not for now. We havent narrowed our choices down and dont want to hear people opinions!

MIL is going crazy over this - she desperately wants to know our "top 3" list but we won't give in.

If we're having a boy we will tell people the name. If we're having a girl we aren't. We aren't worried about anyone using our girl name though. It isn't anything close to traditional in the u.s. and I doubt anyone has even heard of it before.

Were not telling are name. We have told people what we like but we want it to be a suprise.

We are set on our name, but will not tell anyone. We revealed the sex, people can wait to hear the name!

Curious... why tell if the name if it's a boy but not tell the name if it's a girl??

I have only asked my dad if we could use his middle name as a middle name if DC is a boy. We have told the initals (AC(girl)/DC(boy)) to all but we are keeping a tight lip on what the names are until birth. For me its not name stealing I am worring about its stating its a girl then finding that when I gave birth its a Boy. So until that day I want the family to guess what the names would be.

I like the initals better AC/DC is Alternate Current/Direct Current (electrisity terms) or the name of the Rock Band.

We haven't seriously thought about names yet till we know what we are having. Not sure if we will tell or not. I am sure we will... my DH can't keep a secret, and I am not much better!

when people ask if she have a name i say we have a few... and then if they proceed i will throw some of the names out there that we like...lol

We have been telling people.  We don't really care what other people say.  The only thing completely negative that we got was from MIL and she's upset that we have one of the middle names after SIL and not her.  SIL cannot have kids and we both really like her so we decided on this name when we first started dating and asked her to be the Godmother on top of being the Auntie!  We both kind of blew off MIL and like I said people's opinions don't really bother us.  I understand why some people wouldn't tell though!
