Back from 1 hr glucose test

The test itself wasn't so bad...the orange drink tasted like weak Orange Soda.  They let me leave and come back in the hour.

The annoying part is I had to wait an hour before they took my initial blood and gave me the drink. The waiting room was packed with old ladies. I had to listen to an old lady complain about how much she has to pee and that she shouldn't have to wait. Everytime she got up to pee, she would announce it to the whole room and make a big deal out of it.

Now I'm headed to lunch with a friend cause I'm STARVING.

Should have the results back from my test tomorrow...they said no news is good news.

GL!  I love how that is old ladies fun of the week...having blood drawn then going to wendy's for a 99 cent sandwich.  HAHA

I am glad to hear the drink wasn't so bad (I got the same one I picked up last appointment). Ihave to do this twice... the normal time and also at 14 weeks so my Dr. can see if I should come off my metformin.
