What to do for a cold?

My main symptom is nasal congestion. ?I figured I'll steam my face before bed but what can I do throughout the day?

  • Sudafed and most nasal sprays are safe.

  • Wow, I cannot believe how many of us are sick!  I had it for 2 days now and mostly congestion like you.  Last night I slept through the night and could breathe!!!  I have not taken anything...just made some spicy hot soup (pozole)last night (chilis and lime juice) and it helped me sleep.  I have some more leftover for tonight.  Drink lots of fluids and stay in bed!
  • The good thing is that I'm off work today so that will help me get some rest.

  • Nose spray works really w/ my congestion.

My Dr also said you could take Mucinex (who knew?!) to help break all that up.

  • My doc also said you I can take anything that Tylenol makes....Tylenol Cold worked pretty well.
  • I just got over the same thing. I was in bed all weekend....Happy Valentines Day to us....LOL!  I asked the Dr. and same thing.  My doc said that I could take anything that Tylenol makes.  I took Tylenol Cold and Sinus.  Worked great.  I also use this website even after the doc tells me something is okay.

Always consult the Dr. first though.

    Hope you feel better...... :(
