S/O AngelCare "unofficial recall"

They need to go ahead and recall it if they are going to recall it b/c it is the monitor I want but I didn't register for it b/c I didn't want it to get taken off the shelves before my shower or recalled right after I got it. I just registered for the Graco imonitor and it is going to piss me off if they decide that the Angelcare is okay after I get the Graco.

Just get the original angelcare.  It's half the price and the only difference is you get one monitor instead of 2. I'm glad they didn't have the deluxe because it saved me about $80 lol.

I like the deluxe one though. Actually, it was the one dh picked out and I feel bad that we can't get it b/c he was really excited about it.

Well I guess you just have to wait it out! I think it's all a big misunderstanding. I don't think it will actually be recalled.

i wanted the angel care and ended up getting the graco imonitor today since our LO is likely coming this week.  it's pretty neat!  i hope the angel care works out for you...i hope i don't regret not getting it.  if i can't sleep once our dd gets here i may be grabbing an angelcare, we'll see.

I liked that one and my husband picked it out too.  Did I miss an article or something about it possibly getting recalled?

I wanted the Deluxe too but after doing some research today (I was going to buy the deluxe from BRU today) I found the main difference between the regular and deluxe is the temperature gauge.  I did go to BRU today and aked at customer service about a potential recall and they looked at me like I was crazy but yet they had zero on the shelves. Makes a person wonder what the real answer is.

Wal Mart has the regular one with two parent monitors, so I am pretty sure that is what we are going to go with. It has been on the market for quite sometime with a ton of positive feedback so I'm not overly worried.
