PIP: Nursery so far

Mirror will not be there, but Collin's name in wooden white letters. Obviously, the storm window will be on the house, not in the room too.

We weren't going to leave the futon, but my DH said he would like to spend time with the Collin and I when I am nursing.  Also, if I need to sleep in the room, or when all the parents come at once, it will be nice.  The only thing that bothers me, is that the wood does not match the crib and changing table.  OH, well. Probably will put the circle mirror above there.  Won't hurt us as much if it falls on mommy and daddy's heads!

Bedding: Migi PInwheel

The Changing table will go under the picture frame.  The crib and changing table were mine when I was a baby, I think it's soo neat!

Thanks!  Funny thing was, the room was already painted that for the guest room.  We just always loved that color.  Calming.

The stain that's on there is in great shape...I would hate to let DH loose on it.

I am just going to deal with it since after the nursery, it will be moved somewhere else.

I think the futon is a great idea.  I wish we had room in the nursery for an extra bed/large seat.

I don't mean for this to be a downer at all, but I think you should be careful about using an heirloom crib.  It looks like it's in great condition, but you should make sure it meets all current safety standards and is assembled properly with no missing screws, etc.  A couple years ago my niece's leg was almost guillotined off when the drop side on her crib fell down while she was sleeping.  Several of my siblings, cousins and I had slept in that same crib as children so we were very sad to see it go, but it was just too old and dangerous to be used anymore.

I love the nursery. So cute! Do you mind sharing what paint color that is? Looks similar to the color we want for DD's nursery.

Also, I agree with PP. Love the crib, just make sure you check that it meets current safety standards (I am guessing that you did this already).

This has been done and it's missing nothing (screws etc.)  My parents looked into it before giving it to us.  It was only used for me for 1 year 25 years ago.  Great condition, except for teeth marks from me!

 Paint color.....we actually painted the walls when we moved into the house 2 years ago when it was our "Zen" guestroom.  I will look for the color, don't know if I still have it.  I can provide you with a link to the reccomended color for the bedding tho.  My paint is alittle greener, but it definately works!
