Ours was pretty informative and there was nothing I could think of that they didn't cover. Have fun! I got a little faint during our tour when we were in delivery room and I imagined myself in that bed. LOL

Well... you know, it was late in my pregnancy and I was very warm all the time, maybe hadn't eaten enough before... well, those are the excuses I gave DH anyway. We laughed about it afterwards. It was just really surreal! Excitng though.
They will probably cover all of this, but here are some ideas: 1. Parking - do they have valet? If not, where to park when you are in labor and where to park during your stay. 2. NICU - do they have one? If not, what happens if baby needs to go to the NICU? Where will it be taken? 3. labor rooms v. recovery rooms 4. Can you view the nursery? 5. What security measures do they have (matching bracelets, alarms, etc.) 6. Do the husbands get any meal coupons for the cafeteria (ours gave 2 total coupons but did not tell us until the day we left - day 5!). 7. Do they allow alcohol? (some people like to bring wine/champagne to celebrate) 8. Do they have a place to store pumped breast milk? 9. Can you get a private room? If so, what is the extra cost to you? 10. Where to check in when you are in labor? 11. Can you pre-register? 12. Where are ice/water machines? 13. What are the visiting hours? How do they enforce this (we needed our nurses to kick out our visitors who liked to stay 2+ hours passed time).
That's what I can come up with off the top of my head!

hmmm... i'm reading this now.. just got back from the tour ;-), they covered everything except for storing pumped breast milk. But i live about 5 minutes (walking) from the hospital so i'm not too worried about that.. Thanks for all the ideas though!

Most hospitals have a fridge you can keep it in anyway, like a "community fridge."
