My mom was seeing a urologist where we live, but after several acid washes and charcol linings in her bladder....nothing came out of it.

She started going to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL sveral years ago, eventually has the Interstim Implant device placed in her hip and she now has to turn herself on and off to go to the bathroom. She's had this for about 10 years and she's 40 years old.

My mom started having the same issues I did when she was about my age. I always pee fire, go to the doc, get a negative in my urine culture. They'll give me macrobid anyway. It's gotten worse since BFP.

Sadly enough, the doctor's in my area SUCK. So, I will either be going to UAB or Mayo Clinic to see someone to help me.

I'll have to wait until Dillon comes before I am able to be tested for it, it's an invasive procedure and they put you under for it. I just hope I get it taken care of one day.

Holy crap!!! That sucks!  And she is only 40??? Wow, I could not even imagine.  Hopefully you don't have the same thing.  That sucks that there are no good drs by you...how far away is jacksonville from you?  However far it is I am sure it will be worth it...

You will be double digits tomorrow!  How exciting!

Jacksonville is a couple of hours about 3-4 I think. Not too bad for excellent medical care! LOL.

I know! I pointed it out to FI today, we're in shock.

Butting in, do you have any other sypmtoms other than peeing fire?  I too had issues..they thought I have bacterial vaginosis and uti's over and over. The meds would help some..but they kept recurring.  I also got negative cultures... it turned out that acidic foods cause ALL of this.  Now I monitor what I eat and have been "fire pee free" for quite some time now..  I feel your pain..at least I can empathize to an extent!
