Update:Bleeding

Ahhhh just what I thought... probably a hemorroid or fissure! Ughh!

The OB said he wasn't worried. My cramping is mild and subsided last night with lots of water and rest... the bleeding only came from a BM... I have never had bleeding. He told me if I was really anxious about where the blood came from, to insert a small tampon to see if any blood is collected. I don't think that I need to do that. I have peed 2 times since the initial bleeding and there is no sign of blood-not even pink spots. 

He did say I may see blood again when I have to go again in the next 24 hours because if it is a fissure or hemorroid it takes about 24-48 hours for the tear to really heal...

What a relief!  Not fun, or comfortable, but a relief nonetheless.

I'm glad its nothing serious, but take it from me---I know the fissures hurt! I'm sorry and take it easy!!

i had a fissure last week - soooo not fun.  i recommend doing a soft diet for a little bit too...it helps the fissure clear up a bit and will make you strain less so that you don't keep making it worse.
