3rd Trimester

Morning sickness is back. Anyone else have this?

I threw up from 6 weeks to 22 weeks. Oh, then in the middle of that I had 4 weeks of pelvic rest for a cyst.

I had a nice break from 22 weeks to 25 weeks.

Then came strict bedrest (and pelvic rest) from 25 weeks till now.

Now my morning sickness is back. Oh and DH can't find any of the prenatal B6 lollipops for MS or the prenatals for hyperemesis.....it's been so long I have no idea where they are. This sucks!

  • sorry I just reread that and i sound like a big complainer. I'm going to try to be more positive. 8 more days till I graduate from strict to modified!

  • I'm not as far along as you are, but I had no m/s first tri (just nausea). Then from 19-22 weeks was m/s every day. I thought it was done, but low and behold at around 25 weeks it came back. Now its sporadic.?

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, but you're almost there and in the end it'll all be worth it. Keep in mind every one is different and there are some women who have m/s throughout their entire pregnancy -- at least we got some breathing room. :O) ?

  • Hey Girlie, you have every right to complain now and then!! I would too if i was in your shoes!

I've been fortunate that my m/s hasn't come back, just occasional waves of nausea, but no throwing up yet. Yay for only 8 more days til modified! It's a great relief to feel like you can actually get up and do something. I really hope that you feel better soon.

  • I am in the same boat. As you can see i am overdue and i am still throwing up. I have not had one day that i have had a break!! I have hyperemesis as well- and i also have a hard time keeping those prenatals down- i switched to flinstones and somedays they dont stay down either. See if you can get some zofran that is what i took for the nausea and vomiting. Try to drink when you can. The Rain Gatorade seems to work for me cause it is a lighter flavor and keeps my electrolytes up. Fruit cups work for me to. Keep your head up... i just keep telling myself there is end in sight. GL!!
  • I had it really bad until about 20 weeks.  Then it came back around 32ish weeks for 2 or 3 weeks, and now it seems to have mostly let up again.
