So I am just curious if anyone else was told by Dr. to take two Flinstones a day instead of prescription/ OTC vitamins ???? I was having really bad M/S and couldn't eat anything and this really helped
i never heard of this. i was having really bad M/S. why didnt my doc tell me that? wtf.
LOL... I know my dr recommended a lot and this is the only thing that seemed to help which is def ok with me
wish i had known that then. now i have other fun pregnancy systems to deal with, some of which make M/S seem like a walk in the park. what are the next 13 weeks going to bring?

I was taking the Target brand PNV before getting pg. When I called my doctor's office to tell them I got a BFP and set up my first appointment, they said to take the Flinstones or prescription PNV.
I did! I was actually only taking one flintstone vitamin b/c of the iron content (my doc said it was the iron that usually makes people sick), but I took a 400mg folic acid supplement and also B6 to help battle the m/s and I think it helped as well. I have recently switched back to my prenatal vitamins (One a Day) since I was pretty confident that my m/s had gone away after week 10. I have been taking them for a week now and so far I am okay. I was concerend that I wasn't getting enough calcium and iron in the flintstones.

i have been taking flinstone vitamins my whole pregnancy. in the beginning even those were making me sick, so my doc told me to definitely stick with them since anything prescription wouldn't make me feel any better.
