foaming hand soap rec's?

do any of you use a hand soap that's foaming?  i love my conventional foaming soap but have recently started having a reaction to it (they changed scents or something but the two in the combo pack i had are both doing it Sad) sooo - wondering if there are any 'eco-solutions' readily available at grocery stores or target that you ladies like?  i do love the foam soap...  thanks!

  • It's not EF but I use Bath & Body's foaming soap.

  • I just switched to the clean well brand it is foaming and seems to be more EF . I was able to get it at Target. Check out clean wells web site, they seem safe :)
  • I kept the bottle of my foaming antibacterial soap once it finished and now just add 1 pt regular antibacterial soap and 1 pt water and it works great.

  • A lot of people here use their foaming bottle and put in one part Dr. Bronner's soap to 5-10 parts water and it works great.  you pick the Dr. B's scent - my faves are citrus and peppermint but they have 6 or so.
  • i didn't know that cleanwell had a foaming soap - i keep their hand sanitizer in my purse.

i also didn't know i could dump this reaction-causing stuff and make my own foaming soap!!  you guys are awesome - i'm beyond psyched that the bottles will continue to make foam soap for me.  score.

also - has anyone tried the method hand soaps?  my biggest hand soap issue is i need it to not suck all the moisture out of my hands because i seriously freak out about dry hands - and apparently am sensitive to some fragrance stuff as well.

  • pampered chef makes this awesome little thing that turns any soap into foaming soap.

i keep mine by the kitchen sink, so i just put the clorox cleangreen dish soap in it.

  • dr. bronner's dr. bronner's dr. bronner's dr. bronner's dr. bronner's !!!  (or the dr. woods knock-off, which is cheaper:)

i do 1/4 dr bronners to 3/4 water.  it can be a little drying but i add a teensy bit of olive oil and that does the trick!  EF and yummy yummy scents.  my fave is almond

  • We use Kiss My Face Grapefruit & Bergamot Self Foaming Liquid Soup.  It's amazing, and smells like fruit loops!  Everyone comments when they use our bathroom. :D

  • I use Dr.Bronners in an old foaming soap dispenser at about 1:10. My liquid soap is the unscented baby kind, so I added some sweet orange EO to the dispenser to scent this batch.
  • You can make foaming soap by watering down liquid soap and using it in a foaming pump. Doing it this way you can use whatever soap works for you and it can go a long way since you water it down.

  • I use Dr. Bronner's soap in my foaming pump, and LOVE it.  10:1, water:soap; any scent.  I can buy Dr. B's at my local grocery.
