Here is a list of nesties who can commiserate together during bedrest. Nothing better to do, right? Share your story, progress, news, and any ideas of how to keep yourself busy. Check in will occur each day on 3rd tri around 1:00 Eastern.
Please join us, even if you?re not in your 3rd tri yet. Also check out Sidelines.org for another message board for bedrest/high-risk pregnancies.
If you haven?t already, please make a request to the Nest/Bump Gods to create a board for Bedrest/High Risk Pregnancy. It?s difficult to always track down our check in and if we had a board to come to, we?re sure there would be much more opportunity for supporting each other. Either add on to the previous posts or create your own. We?re hoping they hear our requests and the more there are, the better!

Type of BR: only trips to bathroom, shower and can make a small, quick meal when I'm home alone. No housework, lifting or driving. Going to Dr's weekly, having non-stress testing twice a week. First one is on Saturday.

We didn't do gifts, or even cards. Eh, we're alright with that. DH is going to pick up Applebee's carside to go. Maybe we'll watch a movie.
I don't know about you but I have been staying off the boards today. All the heart-shaped pancakes and talk about dinner reservations and romance.
Pelvic rest is lame.

my dh actually surprised me this morning with a v-day card for me and baby. he got her a cute fleecey outfit. he got me a sweater/jacket that kinda matched the little sweater i made her. it was really sweet.
i asked the ladeis yesterday (thanks to those who responded!) what i could do for dh. so i have a heart shaped papa jphns pizza arriving this evening to surprise him....mmmmm. i just told him i've got dinner taken care of and i won't even have to get off the couch.
Well, I am finally excited that I have stocked up on all kind of cards through out the years. I had a bunch of Love cards to choose from (none were Valentines specific, but definitely worked...and I even had some cute cards to send girls for their bdays this month).
Tonight, we are just going to order some togo PF Chang's.
We have a tradition of just ordering chinese food and staying in on Valentines. Other than that, watch some movies 
DH already gave me a HUGE chocolate reese's heart, adorable card (tear jerker), and tulips...my favorite flower!
it's been kinda a crappy v-day so far. Dh is going out to lunch at my favorite place, cheesecake with his brother and SIL...but is bringing me back food. I am crabby cuz i was planning on watching sleepless in seattle but the dvd from netflix is cracked. My IL's are making me angry cuz they showed up now instead of this morning to work on the baby's room...which means they have less time to work on it...when they promised to finish this weekend.
I made DH a card last night though and placed a pic of the baby in it and said it was from both of us and that she can't wait to meet him.

Haha, I'm off of strict bed rest and we aren't doing anything. Isn't that pathetic? Actually, we sort of already celebrated. Since my bday was Wed. and DH's was Thurs. and then with Vday so close afterward we decided to just combine all three and we cooked a really nice meal at home together on Thursday. Today we are just relaxing around the house enjoying each others company. It's almost like being on bed rest again. Sad, I know... you don't have to tell me. If I need an excuse I could go with the fact that I was awake from about 3:30am on all of last night with horrible heartburn. It finally went away around 8:30 this morning and I went back to sleep for two hours. I'm pretty much exhausted. Baby G needs to make an appearance soon.
Okay, pity party over... I'm going to go take a nap.
BTW - I really liked the ideas some of you had. You're so creative!
i went to l&d last nite and they stopped my labor once again. so we went out today. plus valentines day is my fave holiday. my kids picked out candy and flowers and dh took me to dinner. it was great! not anything special but i love it. and im getting a wedding ring upgrade so i got to see what its gonna look like when its done!
