also nbr... music industry

why are radio stations still playing chris browns music and why aren't we seeing pressure from his label???

i get he hasn't ben convicted, but to me this is disgusting.  what kind of example are they setting by leaving his stuff out there.

maybe your markets have pulled him, but not seattle.

Re: also nbr... music industry

  • I read a rather interesting commentary on the whole thing from a music industry perspective this past week. ?Apparently, in the more urban/gangsta rap circles he is being exalted. The expectation is to see a shift away from more mainstream Pop markets into the clearly more urban side. Same article also pointed out that he was in Vegas this week signing autographs and doing public appearances like there was no problem whatsoever but that he shouldn't be hanging around at intersections too long as Team Jay Z is gunning for revenge.

  • I've wondered that about R.Kelly for years.

that just makes me sick!  all the more reason his label should pull him- i am appaled that some communities/cultures think his behavior is 'cool.'
