Email from BRU today...

said 8 of the items on my registry are being discontinued.  Including the bouncy seat and the swing we picked out.  UGH!!!  So, do I pick a new one that's available online and in the store to add and just leave the old one on still so if someone finds it in the store they can get it, or no?  Why oh why do they do this to hormonal pregnant women.  The worst part, is that they discontinued like 8 things in each category and only added 1 or 2 for the "spring collections", which btw are UGLY!

UGH. We went through the same thing yesterday. My boppy was discontinued -- among several other things -- and I was really bent because there are only three that are gender neutral. We're going to BRU today so if they have our Boppy I might just buy it.?

Same thing happened to me, like 15 items were discontinued...

yup it suxs..the changing pad I wanted is discontinued so I think I may go today and just buy it...16 bucks who cares..

that's why I'm scared to register right now. How can you find out what is being discontinued? The only for sure thing we had picked out was our PNP, it was by Boppy. I'll just go and buy it if it's one of the items. I really liked it.

I read last night that Fisher Price's entire Rainforest collection was discontinued too. We almost registered for a few things from them, but changed our mind at the last minute. Glad we did that.

Yeah...the stroller we've picked out is being discontinued! Let me tell you how big of a pain that is. It took forever just for us to find a pattern we both agreed on...now we're back to square one...thank god we have a few months left to figure it out...

I got one too!  Most of the things I went and swapped out with alternatives, but the glider I want is on it! 

I was thankful they sent an email though so that I knew in advance.

got a similar email. luckily it wasnt any of the big stuff.....yet. You can either tell your family/friends your items wont be available soon, you can buy them (look on craigslist to find them a lot cheaper) or try to find new ones....SUCKS

i got the same email.  i'm wondering if it is a ploy in order to get us to purchase these items on our own.  the lamp that matches my bedding was on the discontinued list, but i found it on the new items list on their website a few days ago...
