My three year old LOVES his crib and has always said "no way" to the idea of a bed. In the last few days, he's been asking for a bed and wanting to sleep on the floor with a pillow and a blanket. Yay! He's finally ready! (I hope). Anyway, do you experience ladies have any words of advice? My one question is, what do I do with the crib? His new bed comes next Friday, so do we just go cold turkey? Take the crib down before the bed arrives? I'm afraid if we leave the crib up, if he has trouble sleeping in the bed I will cave and put him back in the crib. I have a 15 month old baby, so sleep is always such a luxury. :-)
Thanks for your help!
Dana
Re: Transitioning to a "Big Boy" Bed!
My 15 month old has her own crib in her room. I'm thinking I should just have his crib taken down when the bed comes. Then there's no option. Of course, that also means there may be no sleep as well. :-)
