I dont pretend either... I enjoy V-Day... but if it turned out to be not that big of a deal I'd be ok with it... Im not going to freak out over it or anything....

me! and it was when dh asked me to be his girlfriend (aw, how cheesy, right)- so its still kind of an anniversary for us. but he totally doesnt have anything planned. at least i HIGHLY doubt it. so disappointing.

I am not romantic, but I like getting presents, even if it's just something small so I like it and I always hope for a little something extra (sparkly preferably) but that never happens

My DH made it very clear two years ago that he thinks Vday is way overrated. Of course I agreed that year because I had no money to spend on him. So now he doesn't think we ever have to celebrate it. I do think that the card, flowers, and candy are a bit of a cliche, but now I realized I NEVER got any of that and I get really jealous of everyone that does. 

This year since I never see my DH any more and me being pregnant I am kinda hoping for a surprise. I'm really hoping I get this:

I didn't care so much until this year when DH has been so busy focusing on practical-baby stuff that I feel neglected. So this year I pretended like I didn't care until last night...then I decided I cared and told him so.

I don't pretend. I don't care if its cheesy, I LOVE Valentine's Day! This year I care a little less than I usually do, but I would at least want to commemorate it by doing something. Even if its just a romantic walk, followed by a chick flick.

I always hope I'll get something that showed a bit of effort, rather than the first cute card he saw Valentine's Day morning. DH is notorious for grabbing cards with cats on them, and not reading the words. I've even gotten a "to my daughter" Valentine card before. Yeah, real romantic, dear.?

Our situation is the exact same way. He told me I'm def not getting anything for Vday because my bday is in 2 weeks and if in 2 weeks he doesn't get paid he will use a credit card... but not for vday

 Which doesn't make sense because I buy him something for vday AND his birthday in august... it's not my fault my bday is the same month as vday

I feel so selfish
