3rd Trimester

Do you ever confuse BH with uncomfortable baby position?

I get BHs all the time, but this one feeling I'm having now is soooo long in duration that I think it must be the baby's feet lodged up weird so that it hurts. It's way too long to be a BH. Does this happen to anyone else?

  • Oh my gosh, I was just thinking the same thing.  The top of my stomach gets so tight sometimes.  I can't figure out if it is just the twins pushing on my stomach or if it is contrax.

I swear right now, I feel like Baby B is trying to bust out.  It feels like she pushes on my stomach, backs up and comes at it harder.

  • for me i actually feel like it's the other way around ... as i have progressed in the pregnancy, BHs have been lasting longer -- they can be like 2 minutes! and a very tight feeling ... whereas, when it's the little booger stretching out it doesnt last too long and i can move him out of that position.
  • I wonder that too sometimes.  I feel like a hard area just on one side...and it feels like it his the bulk of her body or something pressing up.  it's totally soft any place else on my stomach.  Moving positions definitely helps.
  • I only count it as a BH if the whole uterus is contracted, like one hard volleyball all the way around.

  • ugh I was sitting up earlier, but now i'm back on the left side. This is starting to get downright uncomfortable, on the borderline painful. Plus I kind of feel like I'm going to throw up. Which means I'll pee my pants too. Joy.
