I just looked at your bio and I totally remember you from the D&R board!  I was iugal on the Nest.

Do you have any more photos of your nursery?  We did similar wall panels in our nursery, but I'd love to see what else you've done.  We don't have any furniture in ours yet.

hi! I remember your nest name too! What color is your nursery?

 I don't have many shots of our nursery since it's not completely done yet. We've got the bedding in and some of it done, but I'm still making the drapes (same silk material as the crib skirt) and I hope to get those up this weekend!

We're doing black furniture with very simple bedding (just white with blue striping, but here's the start of our nursery:

oooh. I love that shade of blue! I originally had planned on doing more of a blue that color until the fabric I ordered ended up being more of a tiffany blue. Oh well.

Your walls look great, too. Did your DH do the panels or did yall have someone do them?

The black furniture will really pop against the walls. You'll have to post pics when you are done!

My handy husband did the panels and the crown molding himself.  I am beyond impressed because he's never done anything like it before. 

I adore the Tiffany blue in your little girl's room and the mix of furniture is gorgeous!  I wish I was creative enough to make my own crib bedding!

I'm definitely impressed with your husband's handiwork.

As far as our furniture... we haven't bought anything, which is why there is a lot of mix and match. The changing dresser/crib were given to us used by a family friend (we did thorough research to ensure they hadn't been recalled or anything) and then the glider was given to us by my aunt, we just had the cushions reupholstered and painted the glider/ottoman since they were originally light pine. Then the armoire we already had.

 So, it's kind of a mish-mash of stuff, but it'll work!
