s/o: How much personal space to you need?

If I'm in line, a couple of feet if standing front to back.  Side to side (like waiting for a stall in a bathroom sometimes) maybe a few inches.  If I'm in a big crowd, a foot.

    I need to go back, forward, left or right without bumping into someone.

    I HATE people on top of me. I hate someones leg or arm touching mine on the bus/train. Ugh

    About a foot all around if possible as far as strangers go.  If I know people, I couldn't care less. Stand on my feet if you need to.

    The only time it really bothers me is on an airplane.  I get freaked out breathing every body else's air and having to sit elbow to elbow with complete strangers. I used to ride the subway with my kids no problem in Boston.  But of course if the person has an odor I want far away.
