I was told today that it was too early for me to start nesting... is that true? I just feel like there is so much to do, and 4 months doesn't seem like enough time at all!
I was nesting in first tri, skipped most of second tri, and in the last week have suddenly realized how close I am to the end and its picked up again. My bf may be an influence though b/c she's due in six weeks.
It may be early, but I am in full cleaning and nesting mode too. I have been working non-stop...even when I don't get my other stuff done. I too feel that the months ahead will fly and that there isn't enough to do all that needs to be done. good luck!
I think I starting "nesting" when I first became pregnant. I like HAVE to be in a "clean" environment. Which a little dirt and clutter didn't bother me this much before. Than I start thinking about how much the baby's room needs cleaned out and what are we going to do with all of the stuff that is in that room (it was storage). ((Man I am getting overwhelmed just thinking about all the stuff that we need to do to prepare for baby))
No.. I dont think it's too early... Im the kind of person that likes to have things in order and I dont like hurrying to get things done.... So I say the sooner the better LOL
IMO, you should start when you want to. DH painted the nursery during our winter break (we're both teachers), and we're using every 3-day weekend to do something big (ie: register, pick up crib from our parents' house, build the dresser, etc). Besides, we've been hearing it can take up to 3 months for furniture and other items to be delivered. Wall decals/stickers we ordered in January is supposed to arrive in April.
Re: Nesting too early?
