Had baby Jack!

Hello all!

We welcomed Jack Broward into the world last Friday at 1:05pm, he was 9 lbs and 6 oz and 21 & 3/4th inches long, with a full head of hair! I made the decision to go ahead with the planned c-section because at 40 weeks we had no progress and he was not in the birth canal.  My doc said I was not a candidate for induction and he wouldn't let me go past 41 weeks because of his size. 

The c-section was a bit scary at first but really went well.  I was up and about the next day and am feeling really good only 5 days later! To those faced with a c-section it will BE OK!! It is not what I would have chosen but really when you have your baby everything else doesn't matter! 

Baby boy is sleeping really well and breastfeeding is coming along. It is tough and my nips are sore but well worth it and it seems it is already getting better.  Good luck ladies! Hang in there, don't stress too much about having a c-section if that is how your beautiful baby gets here!  Thanks for all the support though this whole pregnancy!
