I overheard this statement in the bar at the hotel in Hawaii.  I had to put my hands over my mouth to keep from laughing hysterically.  This was said by a married woman with her husband and toddler and they looked totally normal.  What country did she think she was in?   I wondered if she was a nestie.

It was wonderful and ds behaved very well the entire trip.  The worst part is that he'll never remember it.  But we did take lots of pictures to show him when he's older.  Thanks for asking!

I was on a plane once & overheard a woman talking to a man.  She asked where he was from. He said Puerto Rico.  She asked if it was his first time coming to America.

Was she serious, or just asking in disbelief that a DRINK cost $12?  Cause that sounds like something I might have said to my DH in complaint of high prices (but not to the waiter, not his problem of course)
