It just seems large for 17 weeks (not that I know what size it should be). It doesn't feel like it's really my body and I have a hard time imagining that it will be bigger. I guess in my head whenever I imagined being pregnant I always just thought I'd look pregnant instantly, I never thought about the growing part!
Those are my ramblings. . . feel free to contribute your own. . .
Re: Sometimes I feel like I'm faking my belly. . .
I had a coworker ask me today if I was sure it wasn't twins cause I'm so big...but I'm thrilled to have a big round bump!
You need to post a pic of you!
I feel huge.......i can't imagine getting bigger. i keep telling DH that i'd be happy if i stayed the size i am now........ and im only 24 weeks! i'm gonna be huuuuugggge....but i am very small framed... and i am probably average for as far along as i am. i dont know.
I feel the same way as you. It's hard to imagine that it's actually a baby pushing your belly out.I think my fat is just rounded out because my uterus is pushing it out from underneath. If I didn't have that top layer, I don't think I'd look nearly as pregnant. And sometimes I wonder how much of it's baby, and how much of it is really just because I've been eating a lot of really terrible things! Haha! Especially when I see how tiny some of the girls on here are at 20-24 weeks!
Some of you look truly amazing for your number of weeks!
I feel the same way!! I feel huge for 19 weeks....but I love it!!!
I feel huge too for 25 weeks, but all my friends think i'm "tiny"....
I think there just comparing me to themselves when they were pregnant.
