Do you try to make baby move?

At night I try to make my little guy move by gently shaking my stomach.  DH hates when I do this and is always telling me to let him sleep. Any other stomach shakers or pokers out there?  LOL

    I'm a shaker, a pusher and a briber.  I eat more sugary stuff during the day at work so I can see/feel her move.

    I used a flashlight last night!!! It was really cool, the baby totally moved towards the light =)

    Ha ha!  I was poking around yesterday, and DH looked at me in shock and said "OMG stop poking!  You're going to hurt him!"

    I did it for the first time last night. I have had a couple of moments before where I thought I felt the baby move but I wasnt sure. When I was laying in bed last night I pushed and moved my belly to see if I could get it to move. I think it worked because I had 2 moments where I felt something and I'm pretty sure it wasnt gas Big Smile

    I usually try the gently pushing method and sometimes it works.  I gotta try the flashlight thing!  How cool!

    My DH is always like "dont poke our baby!" Sometimes if I just talk about the baby she/he moves..I am sure thats just a coincidence. If I rub my stomach the baby will move sometimes too.

    Haha! I love this question! Yes, I totally try to get him to move. I chose not to brush my teeth last night because I wanted to drink some juice right before I got in the bed to see if he would move. I knew the toothpaste and juice would make me gag. He did move a little. I feel asleep almost immediately so who knows if he was moving for a while. I do the poke thing too...my husband hates it.

    When we talk or sing to her she moves around like crazy! I hope that means she likes it.?

    yea doesnt work so i stopped. it upset DH haha. Sometimes she moves when I talk to her or when I put headphones on my belly and play classical.
