F/U To Odd Ob Appt/Big U/S results

So... after my midwife freaking me out a bit about being further along or possible twins I got my big U/S today.

The Results: just one baby, measuring 2 days ahead of the due date and it's a girl!!! She's very active, I can feel kicks from the outside already and my ute felt big which is why the midwife was sending me asap for the u/s.

Definitely odd to see a kick on the screen and feel it at the same time!

There should be a rule against alarmist medial pronouncements! Couldn't that midwife yesterday just have been like "huh, your uterus seems big to me -- almost like you could be having twins. Hard to tell until an ultrasound, though. let's set it up ASAP so you can find out."

that would have been a whole lot easier to deal with than "you are definitely either much further along than you think or having twins."
