A big no no for pregnant woman..

never try and put anything together while pregnant! The other day my mom bought a cart for the nursery that has little cubby hole things on it.. really cute.. and really easy to put together, BUT it took me 2 hours to do it. Tonight I got a bookshelf for the nursery and i've been working on it since 4ish. I broke 2 of the screws to it but luckily my mom had extra, I put it together backwards so the smooth part of the wood was in the back, and after my mom came over and helped me put it together and it was finally finished.. we stood it up only to see that my dumb self put the top of it on upside down. Needless to say if we would have tried to flip the top over we would have had to take the whole thing back apart so I just laid a pretty blanket across the top and put baskets on it.. LOL Pre-pregnancy I was not this dumb!

Pregnant brain has really started to haunt me!

I would rather assemble something blindfolded and with arm tied behind my back than have DH attempt it. He's no Bob the Builder, that's for sure.

I did stuff like that pre pregnancy :-)  But DH can't do the "man" work so I attempt it.

Ummmm....I tried to do our taxes....This baby better not come out cursing or swearing up a storm...if he does, it's MY fault!

haha! I was not even going to try that! I just let my mom do it.. there is no telling what kind of mess I would have got myself into!
