When I first started reading pregnancy books and hearing about pregnancy making you forgetful etc. I though it sounded crazy... but I have it so bad!! I seriously feel like a moron a couple times a week, and I'm no dummy!! I got a 29 on the ACT's and now I'm wondering if I would even score an 18 some days!! DH notices too which doesn't help my self esteem... anyone else notice this??
Re: "Prego" brain??
Dr. Oz (yes, he knows everything, I'm convinced of it) said that when pregnant, the baby zaps the omega-3s out of your brain and uses them for its own growth and devlopment. Because O3s are responsible for keeping the synapses healthy and are partially responsible for memory, he claims that "pregnancy brain" is a real thing.
I wouldn't know - I've been militant about taking my supplements and haven't really had any "moments" (knock on wood).
I submitted my FAFSA with my first name in the last name spot and vice versa
Needless to say, I got a letter from social security administration.. lol
And pssst spaghetti sauce brain?
Prego=sauce... Atleast you had quotes around it...
Ooh, good luck with that. I work in financial aid and know what a nightmare a mis-matched SSN/name can create. I hope your college's office is nice to you about it!
I have wanted spaghetti all week! So I guess you could say I have spaghetti sauce brain.
Seriously, I have had the forgetfulness that comes with pregnancy.
I got a good score on the ACTs too... but I never thought that would come up here! LOL

i think mine gets worse and worse everyday. i was out to lunch with FI today & and i got lost coming back from the bathroom! i seriously couldnt find our table & a worker looked at me like i was crazy haha
So far so good! I'm not really expecting to receive any aid anyways since I didn't get anything last year, but I needed to submit it anyways. Ugh I felt like suchhh an idiot though. Oh well. They seemed pretty understanding..
"You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
Ditto.
Either that, or you're really young... I can't believe it's been 12 years since I took my ACT. I'm old...
And, I have that crazy prego brain too. It's affecting everything. Luckily, I'm screwing minor things up, but not major.
For example, I put my phone in the freezer, etc. Weird stuff like that.
