My sexy husband and thats its... the other family will be in the waiting room or our home afterwards
Q3:(Non-Pregnancy Related): What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Hubby making dinner and then maybe watching a movie?
1. Going for the 3 hour glucose on friday.
2. I have asked my mom to be there with me. Depending on my relationship with mil at the time, I may ask her too. Dh, of course said it was up to me, but I'd imagine that we will let family see her right away.
3. Nothing for v-day.
Q1: I had my fist NST yesterday. It went well. My next one is Friday.
Q2: Just DH will be in delivery room. Then only immediate family will see baby afterwards. We plan to have an hour or so just the 3 of us before everyone else gets to meet him.
Q3: For the first time, we are staying home for Valentine's Day. I am cooking hubby a special dinner (or we may get take out...haha) and then he is taking me out for a special dessert. Gifts will be minimal this year.
Q1: Any news or updates on your pregnancy? Not really. Took the glucose test today, so waiting for test results! Things are going well.
Q2:(Pregnancy Related): Whom do you plan on having in the delivery room with you? Do you plan to have alone time with just you, DH, and baby afterwards, or will you let family and/or friends see baby immediately after birth? I know my honey atleast. Others I have no idea, as my family lives out of state, so if my Mom and or sister can be there, they might be in the delivery room. I will allow family ONLY to see the baby right after birth and in small quantities.

It will be just Dh and I in the hospital once the baby arrives then people can make thier way to the hospital. That is the plan anyways....LOL!

1- Had Drs. appt today. It went good, but I gained a bit too much weight. I'll have to do better this month.
2- I plan on having DH, my mom, and our friend who is a labor & delivery nurse at the hospital where I am delivering. I don't mind letting friends and family see the baby afterwards. We have the rest of our lives to be a family!
3- Going out to dinner with friends.

If people show up to the hospital, we'll see them briefly, but I don't think there will be anyone there (all our family and most of our friends are OOT)

Q2: Well, I have been saying all along that I only want DH and necessary medical personel, but we had our first birthing class last weekend and they went over the visitor rules, and DH suddenly said that wouldn't it be nice if his mom could come in? Not for the delivery, but to say "hi" and such during labor? I really, really don't want her there, not because I don't like her because I love her, but because I am doing an unmedicated, hopefully Bradley birth. I don't want anyone there distracting me or DH, and either DH will be paying no attention to me, or else they'll both be paying too much attention to me. And there's no such thing as "just stopping by" with her; she's a talker. I'm still trying to get him to understand. Sorry, that was long.
Family will probably be allowed in shortly after the birth, although I'm going to take as much time as I can with jsut the 3 of us.
Q3: No actual Valentine's Day plans. We have a family function that weekend, so we'll be out and about with family. DH will be getting a card that morning.

Going to Tahoe to snowboard (DH) and sit inside (me). We live in So Cal so it is exciting for us to go to the snow.

I had my 1-hour on Monday...failed that; had my 3-hour this morning. I don't know who was more hopped up on that sugar drink...me or the baby..lol

Thus far, I just plan on having DH with me in the delivery room...and only my mom if I ask for her. After that, I think my DH and I will have some time to ourselves, then anyone who is there can come in small waves.

I plan to just be Me and DH if my Mom and Sis are in town when the baby decideds to come there welcome to come in aswell DH and I don't mind especially since it will be our second and we can bond alone at home. I would love to have friends and family share in our joy at the hospital with us.?
