2. Have you taken any of those Chinese Predictor or Old Wives Tales quizes to find out the "Baby Gods" thought you were having? Were any of them right? Any fun sites you found that you would like to share?
With Jacob it said i was having a girl and with Norah it said I was having a boy. Apparantly in China, when you are born, you're born at 1 year old. So when doing the predictor, you're supposed to add 1 year to it. When I did that, they were both right...I think its just a coincidence though
With Norah, I did a few more "predictors" and all of those were right too. Except her h/r was much slower than Jacobs was

Dont use the excuse "Im eating for two" its much harder to loose the weight afterwards if you let yourself go. Plus eating healthier is better for the baby!
2. Have you taken any of those Chinese Predictor or Old Wives Tales quizes to find out the "Baby Gods" thought you were having? Were any of them right? Any fun sites you found that you would like to share? I did this one Old Wives Tale survey. Answered all the questions it said girl. Went back and took it again, answered the questions exactly the same it said boy lol! So I am no better off then I was before, still 50 50 chance.
3. When did you belly start showing? I am almost 7 weeks, and I am already showing. Its so weird to everyone that sees me.
4. Has/did anyone tell you they thought you were having twins? I get it every single day. At work and when I am out. Especially when I tell people how far along I am. They are shocked. But then again I have a very small torso so there really isn't anywhere else for it all to go lol.

Well, my Dad thinks he is just this really funny guy and since our last name is King, he really goes out there. Cheese Burger King, No Smo King, Jo King, Minnessota Vi King. And since my name is Lacey, and I was named after the town, Olympia King.
6. Did you know if you were on the blue or pink team before your big ultrasound? Honestly I have no idea! One minute everyone thinks its a girl. 8. What was one thing you are/did have a problem eating, if anything? Spicy stuff, mainly because it causes my esophagial spasms to really kick in and now that I can't take my meds for it, it's worse. And the first month and a half, no meat at all. It made me so sick.

7. What was one the one thing you are/did crave while pregnant? I really don't crave any one thing. Although today I really wanted Thai food...so I went and got some
I have found that I like apples a lot more than I used to.
8. What was one thing you are/did have a problem eating, if anything? Spaghetti Sauce...I still like it, but it gives me heartburn!
9. Where is/was your bundle of joy delivered? Dr? Weight/Length? Caden was delivered at the Group Health Campus on Capitol Hill by the doctor on call because my doctor was camping. I don't remember his name...but he was really nice. He weighed 8 lb 13 ou. and was 21 inches long. We are having our second baby at St. Joe's in Tacoma by the midwives at Group Health Tacoma.
10.Give one piece of advice to expecting Mommies that you wish someone would have told you...I totally agree with the amount of bleeding
Why didn't anyone tell me that! But I just decided to go with the flow and really didn't have many expectations, so I think that helped.

5. What's the funniest name someone told you, you should name your baby? People suggested Aiden a lot, but that was the name of a terrible little boy I worked with, and just couldnt have the association.
6. Did you know if you were on the blue or pink team before your big ultrasound? I really thought I was having a boy, but I didnt know for sure.
7. What was one the one thing you are/did crave while pregnant? I drank tons of milk, and it has stuck with me! And ate a lot of fruit popsicles.
8. What was one thing you are/did have a problem eating, if anything? I could barely eat anything for a while, but I did eat deli meat sandwiches, I thought they were fine.
9. Where is/was your bundle of joy delivered? Dr? Weight/Length? He was delivered with a midwife, Erin Curtiss at the Puget Sound Birth Center in Totem Lake. He was 7 lbs 2 oz, 19".
10.Give one piece of advice to expecting Mommies that you wish someone would have told you... That recovery after delivery is really hard!! And to accept help when people offer. And accept hand-me-downs, all the stuff you have to buy really starts to add up!

10.Give one piece of advice to expecting Mommies that you wish someone would have told you... Having a bunch of supportive people around you in delivery is okay. Most people gave me odd looks when I said we were going to have a support team in there with us, but it was the best thing we ever did. My mom, my bonus mom (each held a leg) and gave me great comfort, my guy at my head and hands, and my little sister being my focal point. Before delivery we had even more moms and friends helping me cope and rubbing my feet and running errands. Personally, I think this helped me relax through the contractions even more.
