3D Ultrasound Timing

If you had one, in what week did you have it done?

The picture in my siggy is from last Friday, 21 weeks 5 days. We got some great pictures.  We are going to go back and have our 2nd 3D ultrasound week 30.

I will be having one at 28 weeks. That's when the technician said is a great time.  Baby is big enough for you to see what it looks like but small enough that most of it can fit onto the screen.  Otherwise it's too big and you'll be looking at pieces of it at a time.

I had one at 20 weeks and one at 30. I felt the 20 weeks was too early (very skeletal) and the 30 was too late (very squished and hard to get good pictures). This time we're going at 25 weeks.

I got a package which I got my first 3D at 20 weeks, and a second between 30-32 weeks!

We are going to be having one at about 18 weeks to find out the sex.  Then we're going to have another one around 28 weeks to get better pictures.

We had one at 29 weeks and it was perfect!

I just had one done today...the tech switched from 2D to 3D and I didn't know she was going to.  It was a last minute U/S based on high AFP values so we were more concerned with the baby's spine.  It was pretty cool though!
