Ugh! DS will not nap for more than 30 min.

I cannot get him to take a good nap, both yesterday and today.  He desperately needs a nap (mommy desperately needs him to nap too!) and I have tried everything - the bouncy seat, the swing, putting him on a blanket on the floor, on the floor in the boppy, in his crib with the "rain" going on the soundspa...  I thought he may have finally fallen into a good sleep in his crib, but nope!  20 min. later and he is in there babbling away.  I really need to get some pumping done for when I go to work this week and he is making it impossible

I feel your pain...DS has been like that since he was 7 weeks old. These days he is down to 2 twenty minute naps a day. Mommy gets no breaks!! Thankfully he isnt usually cranky when he is tired. But he crashes at bed time.

Im gonna say this is unfortunately normal.  My Ds was like this unless I actually held him for his nap or if he was in the carseat.  Then around 5 months he began taking naps in his own bed and for longer times.  i think it may come with age!!!  So sorry--good luck!
