NBR: bad haircut, WWYD?

I've been going to the same hairdresser for over 2 years and normally love the way she cuts my hair.  This time it looked good when I loeft, but I haven't been able to make it look good at all.  It seems like the layers are way too chunky.  Would you call her and see if she can fix it?  I'm really unhappy with the way it looks, but I don't know another good hairdresser in the area.

  • If you really like her and want to stay with her then see if she can fix it or show you how she styled it when you where there since you liked it when you left

  • I would totally call her and just say its not exactly the way you wanted it, could you come back in for a trim/fix? If she is professional , she should have no problem with fixing a clients hair until they are satisfied.
  • Yes, definitely call or stop in so she can see the problem you are having when you try to style it. ?I think if you have been her client for that long, she would want you to call her so she can fix it. ?

  • ditto pp's. especially if you have been going to her for 2 years, I'm sure she will be willing to make you happy..that is how you keep a good customer!
  • I would call her and ask her to thin out the layers.  If you have been going to her for that long she should have no problem with it.
  • I am a hairdresser and I would definitly say to call her.  She should be able to fix it or show you ideas onhow to style it.  I wouldnt go to someone else and start over now after all this time. As a stylist I would rather someone call me back then be unhappy and go pay for another cut again. Good luck
  • Yes.. just let her know that you havnen't been able to syle it the same way so it probably isn't the best haircut for you to have. My good friend is a hair dresser and she would much rather someone come back to let her fix something that they are unhappy with than loose a client.
  • Yeah, call her and have her fix it. If you have someone else fix it she will probably notice next time you have her cut your hair and feel bad.
