I just wanted to ask everyone once again if they could keep my little man Cayden in their prayers. ?He was making a lot of noise breathing a couple nights ago, and I noticed that his stomach was retracting. ? He was also spitting up a lot of his bottle, which he never does, so I took him to the pedi. ?She noticed that his breathing was very labored and that his heart rate was increased, so she took an RSV test, and sure enough it was positive. ?I have no idea how he got it because he is pretty much confined to our house all day. ?He was admitted to Children's Hospital in San Diego last night. ?The doctors are hoping that his won't be a horrible case because he did have his synagis shot before leaving the NICU, however, I learned yesterday that it doesn't prevent a preemie from getting RSV, it just lessens the course of the virus. ?Unfortunately, the hospital pediatrician said that most babies have to have it in their system for at least a month for it to be truly effective. ?Please keep us in your thoughts. ?Thank you.

You are at a wonderful hospital, and from you said, it sounds like he is going to be just fine. I will pray that your baby is home soon!
Is he getting some sort of treatment for RSV or just under observation?
