How much solid food does your 4-5 month old eat?

We've been doing rice cereal for a week and a half now.  DS gets 2 Tbsp twice/day.  Sometimes I think he could eat/wants to eat more.

Wow. No wonder my kid is low on the weight chart.

DS ate a Tbsp of cereal the first time he got cereal and ended up with a tummy ache. So I backed down to 2 tsp.

Currently he gets 1.5 Tbsp of cereal and about 1/2 a container of a stage one food at dinner time. He only gets one solid meal a day.

We do the same but started adding applesauce to the cereal which he loves. The problem we have is he doesn't want his bottle, just cereal. He loves it so much.

Couple tablespoons of cereal in the AM and a veggie jar around dinner

FWIW, DS was in the 75th percentile for weight long before we started solids.  He was EBF for 4 1/2 months, so his position on the weight chart has nothing to do with the amount of solids he eats.

We haven't started any solids yet per pedi's recommendation. DD is already in the 90th percentile so I think she is getting enough for now just with bm and formula.
