Smoke at daycare

So daycare had a scare today. Smoke came into a few rooms. The kids were all out in less than 5 minutes and 911 was called. Turns out it was a heater that went bad and was turned off.

A note went home explaining this and saying that the heaters were turned off. I was wondering if there was heat in the building. Dh picked up ds and can be a little clueless about these things. Dh said they would have told us if ds's room did not have heat.

I called  and two of the classrooms do not have heat! But ds's room does.

That is really scary!  It sounds like they handled it well though.

Very scary, but it sounds like they were on top of things. I would be happy about that.
