everyone keeps telling me, 'oh, you'll just know!' but i'm worried that i won't.
anyone actually have contractions and not know they were real ones? i feel like i'm so focused on anything being a BH contx that i'm afraid i'll just write it off as that.
Re: did anyone not 'just know' when you were in labor?
I totally did not know I was in labor the first time. I went into PTL @ 33 weeks, mentioned it at a routine doctor appointment. She did an internal and then an u/s and my cervix was thinning quick. I never would have known.
When I really had him, I had contractions sporadically for two days before my water broke while I was getting ready for work. I had a feeling I was getting close to going into labor, but still not sure when - especially with the PTL and BH. I will say that my contractions only got painful when I was dilated 3-4 cm.
