DS eating every hour

since 6am! My nipples can't take much more than this.  yesterday he fed constantly and was up inbetween all day.  prior to that he had been eating every 3 hours or so and sleeping in between.  My poor nipples need a rest!

Yep, DD was the same way around 2 weeks.  That's when I started pumping and giving her bottles which seemed like a good idea at the time.  It created a huge snowball effect that ultimately resulted in me having to EP.  So, my advice is that no matter how hard it is right now, it gets better - just hang in there and don't give up!  These little spurts are temporary.  Your little one is just growing and needs more nourishment.  GL!

I feel the same way.  I am also having a hard time telling when she is hungry and when she isnt.  It seems natural to just try and feed her...

DD did the same.  i know as a BFer you may be hesitant, but you might want to try a paci.  my DD was actually using me as a paci and not necessarily hungry.  just something to think about...  BTW, she never had nipple confusion.
