sometimes i want to say yes it's great, but sometimes it sucks. like when he's screaming bc he's tired and is fighting his sleep, or i can't take a shower (that is when i actually get to take one) without having to drag the entire house into the bathroom with me.

I LOVE her. I just wish that I had a portable nanny once in a while to hold her so I could get some activities done. once in a while. however, that sweet smile and baby talk- makes all the lugging around worth while.

Agreed. I feel like such a liar if I say, "It's great!" and leave it at that. But you can't really say it sucks

I love being a Mom, but it's definitely harder than I expected. ?I don't think I could've done it before now....and I'm 31. ?I can't imagine being a single Mom either.

Yesterday I took DS out and when I finally got everything loaded into the car, I realized that I forgot something in the house. ?I had to take DS back into the house to grab it, then load everything in the car again. ?I live in NYC, so definitely can't leave DS in the car alone. ?It's the little things that get 'cha! ?

I always say it is the more rewarding and the most challenging thing I've ever done.  It's true. It doesn't mean I don't love DD more than anything in the world, but the day-to-day is tough.  I think being at work is FAR easier!

Agreed...And I bet if they've ever had children they really actually feel that way too. But I think people forget that you have good days and bad days! I hear ya though!

Eh I am one of those.  I love mommy hood and am blessed to have a very "easy" baby.  When I get frustrated I just remind myself how wonderful he is and it's all better.  But I felt totally different at 1-2 months PP.  It gets better and better as they get older.

Hehe, I totally agree. I have a few acquaintances who are pregnant right now and occasionally they ask me what "it's really like" raising a baby. Since they're not my close friends, I just say it's hard but worth it. If it was a close friend, I think I'd go into more detail but I feel too guilty doing that with anyone else.

I agree it can be frustrating, but for the most part it is completely wonderful and I enjoy ALMOST all aspects of it.

I find it rather boring actually.  When people ask me how it is being a parent I tell them it's like taking care of a very needy puppy that needs to eat every few hours. 

Honestly, she's just at that stage where all she does is eat, sleep and poop -  in that order.  The crying only bothers me if she fussies in the wee hours of the morning.  Aside from that it's not all that bad.  Wonderful no, but it's not horrible by any means.
