I'm shocked at the type of mom I've become.

If you told me before I got pregnant that I'd be a co-sleeping, baby-wearing, extended-breastfeeding, baby-food-making mom I would have laughed at you.

And, yet, I'm all of those things.  Lesson learned: never say never.

  • Those little creatures sure do have a way of changing us huh?!  ;)
  • I've learned to never say never...I eat my words all the time it seems like!

Except for the baby-food-making, ditto all of this :-)?

  • Add in cloth diapering, and that's me too. ?Up until a few months before Evan was born, I NEVER thought I would consider cloth diapers, not to mention all the other stuff.

There was a woman on the 2nd trimester board the other day (pregnant with her first) who said that people only co-sleep out of laziness. ?I couldn't help but laugh at how ignorant that sounded, especially coming from someone who's never dealt with night wakings.
