Listening to a 6 week old cough...

...is breaking my heart.  I called the pedi this morning since it seems to be worse today.  He just coughs and coughs and it seems so painful.  Plus now he's starting to smile and so he'll cough and then afterwards try to smile at me.  UGH, I hope he gets better soon. Crying

  • Aw :( ?I hope he gets better asap!?
  • I was in exactly the same position a couple of weeks ago. The smiling after she coughed so hard that she threw up was heartbreaking.

RSV was the low point of parenting for me so far. It is taking forever for her to get back to normal-- the doc said that the snot and coughing could last up to SIX WEEKS.

OMG I hope that it doesn't take that long for her!!  I also hope that this isn't RSV and that's it's just whatever random bug my MIL brought over here a week or so ago.  Grrr.

  • Even if it is RSV, there's really nothing you can DO for it. Just a vaporizer, snot sucker and saline drops. Random bugs are bad, too.

I keep taking the kids out in the cold air in an attempt to kill off some of the bugs. Winter can NOT be over soon enough.
