Anyone very late & induced first time, but went on time 2nd time?

Hello! I am due on Wed and this is my 2nd child. The first pregnancy I was induced after being 9 days late and I am petrified of having to go through that again. Just wondering your experiences and if you went on time or even just a few days late the 2nd time, while being really late the first time?? Thanks so much for any info and congrats on your beautiful babies!

    I didn't experience this but a close friend of mine did, her first was 12 days late she was induced.  Her second was a week early and she barely made it to the hospital before she gave birth.  She gave birth to her baby 5 minutes after they got her into her L&D room.

    I was late with my first...41w 1 day.  I was late with my second...42weeks.

    Unless you have some kind of underlying medical problem, you do NOT have to be induced.  I was set for an induction at 42w 1 days and told the MW I wasn't down for it until 43 weeks.

    You make the rules for your own body!

    I was the opposite.  Baby #1 came at 38 weeks.  Baby #2 wouldn't budge, so we induced the day before my due date.
