DH is painting the nursery!!!

He refuses to let me help but I did put up all the blue tape and put down the drop cloths and get everything together!  I can't wait to see the final product!

    Yay! My DH is painting ours today too!  We don't live at the house now, but he sent a pic to my phone and it looks great~

    As long as you're in a well-ventilated room and aren't huffing the paint, you'll be fine. If you're concerned about fumes, you can use low-VOC paints which - unlike regular paints - won't release toxins into the room whether freshly painted or years down the road.

    Oh that's great! We will be spending some more time cleaning ours out tomorrow. I can't wait till we can paint it!

    i can't tell you how jealous i am of all you getting nurseries painted ! :)

    i am DYING to get ours painted- but it still needs to be cleaned out (was our office/storage room)... dh is at least up there working on it now while i watch DS (who is napping- good boy!).

    i can't wait to see your finished photos!

    Oooh yay!  Sounds great!  I am not going to paint (I'm going to play the pregnancy card) but I cannot wait for it to be done.  We are painting when it gets to be a little warmer (so we can open the windows) and when DH is ready to be kicked out of his "office."  I will probably have to kick him out myself, and am hoping to do it sometime next month so I have plenty of time before the baby shower.:)

    I hope to see some pictures later!

    How exciting! I remember DH not letting me go anywhere near the room while he painted. So it was kind of magical just seeing it all done! :)

    It was great when my DH painted the nursery. Like your DH, mine would not let me help paint either but I did go and check up on it as he was working. The finished product is so awesome!

    We bought the paint and supplies today for painting. DH has to take down a border at the top of the wall and then prime and paint. He doesn't want me to do any painting either. So it will be cool to see it done.

    DH is finishing up the painting today. Its so nice to have it done and not have to worry about doing it yourself. :)
