Binding poll

totally NOT judging here, just curious because i just learned what this is and it threw me off...[Poll]

Re: Binding poll

  • I shouldn't admit it but I voted yes. I would have said no during my first pregnancy. But... I just hated my body so much after DS was born. I was so insecure and just had a lot of issues. Sad

While I voted yes, I am hoping to avoid gaining 50 pounds again so maybe the situation won't be so bad to begin with...

  • You forgot the "WTF is binding?" option.
  • ps i would assume this only applies to vaginal deliveries?  i can't imagine wearing something like this with a c-section incision healing- ouch!
  • better?

check outthe jessica alba post below, i had no idea either!

now that i know what it is i must admit i'm interested and probably willing to give it a shot- as long as it isn't painful and doesn't effect my movement/breastfeeding etc.  and obviously as long as it isn't dangerous.

thanks to whoever posted the tauts link!

  • Oh, I don't know. Probably not. I am not that concerned with losing all the weight right away, a little extra padding is fine, just as long as I don't still look six months pg two months later, ala the lady in my s/o post.

  • There should be a no way, it's not worth it! option.

I'm going to embrace me pooch and work hard to keep it minimal, but I kind of feel as though it's a right of passage sort of thing. I wasn't perfect before and I don't plan on being perfect afterwards.

  • yes, i'm vain. I already own girdles and corsets to wear under retro style clothes and evening dresses so its no big deal.

  • nah, just diet and exercise as per usual.  plus my mom was tiny before pregnancy like me and she was tiny after by just watching what she ate.  i'm going to rely on my genes to work in my favor and if not, oh well.
