NBR: Hair wwyd?

So I am in desperate need of a haircut and color.  The color big time as the last time I had it colored was August (didn't color in first tri) and dear Lord has my hair started to finally get some gray.  Anyway, here's my dilemma:  I've been trying to find a new stylist closer to home.  I used to see a guy about 30 minutes away and he was okay but not great.  After seeing my old stylist in LA, I realized I was not in love with how he did my hair, just making do, and decided to look elsewhere.  I tried one girl who again was okay, not great, and tried another girl who did well and it looked good for the first couple weeks and then the cut looked worse and worse as it grew out, so don't want to go back to her.  My neighbor recommended a girl about 10 miinutes away who I thought I would try.  But then I just got in the mail a coupon from the guy I used to see for about a year here for 25% off any cut and color if I come back in before the end of February.  That's a big savings!  So question is do I go with trying someone new again or do I go back to the old guy who does a good but not great job for the 25% savings?  WWYD?  TIA!!!

I would probably try someone new.  I used to flit from hairdresser to hairdresser but once I found one I *loved* I stuck.  A good stylist is worth their weight in gold!

Sounds like your hard to please!  Maybe you just aren't happy with your hair in general.  I would give that guy another chance and be much more specific about what you like and what you don't like.
