Its like watching a train wreck... but the poor kids are the victims.

How much more do you think we will hear on her?  I totally want to know how she thinks she can physically do this.  One person cannot do it all- and I'm not sure how much support she will get. (just look at Jon and Kate) The evil in me sort of hopes that she doesn't get that much support in the start- how dare she expect other people to step up when she has been soooo irresponsible (of course, I wish nothing but the best for the kids)! 

And, the doc needs to hand over his license right away...

what's funny is that she claims she isn't taking government handouts. ?what i want to know is who paid for her hospital stay then?

If these babies were conceived the way she claims, I think that's a very likely outcome...?

Part of me wishes social services would take her kids away from her.  I don't think she's mentally stable and I highly doubt she's going to be capable of providing a good life for these children.  HOWEVER, if the kids were taken away chances are they would be split up and I think that would be even more traumatic.  Just not a good situation however you look at it.

As a women who went through IVF, I am just crazed with the bad rap it is giving those of us who are responsible enough to do IVF the right way.

Social Services has no business taking the children away if there are other family members who can care for the children. There is no abuse present, so removing the children is not the solution.

I NEVER want to hear about her again. I'm so sick of it. Her story is giving infertility and reproductive technology a bad name because it's not otherwise publicized enough so people think this is normal.

I think she has insurance. She's at a Kaiser facility. Where I live they only take Kaiser insured folks.

She personally has Kaiser insurance, and the babies are then covered under her policy for the next 30 days after birth.  Her other children receive state medical benefits . . . guess who will be taking over the bill for her premies???? 

This lady is from my hometown and its just bad bad bad what is being said about the situation.  I'm seriously disgusted.  People who know her say she is a normal woman, other than her seriously freaky obsession with children and having a big family.  People have tried to convince her she can't afford them . . . can't take care of them . . . she doesn't care.  

I look at the situation no different than you would an animal hoarder....she is just hoarding children.  Her obsession is obviously out of control but no one of authority has stepped in yet.

From what I understand the state is investigating whether she abused the disability payments she was receiving for so many years, or the state benefits her children receive.  

Bottom line is, these kids are the ones who are going to suffer for this . . . not her.

As an outsider - I don't think it is giving IVF a bad rap. It is making her look like a loon and the DR irresponsible

I hope that most people think the same way that you do. I am open about doing IVF to get pregnant and several people have come up to me and said "Boy are you lucky you didn't get 8!" Her doctor is irresponsible for transfering so many embryos. I just hope people don't start to think that it is the norm for IVF.
