Should I get my taxes done?

Ours are fairly straightforward.  I usually do them myself.  I could do them myself this year also, I just don't feel like it.  I would just love to not have to deal with it.  I get so stressed about it.

Do you get yours done?  Is it expensive?

We have ours done and it's the best money I spend all year. I think we pay $150? Totally worth it, IMO. Our accountant is amazing, though.

DH always does ours.  I have no idea how to do them, although I am sure it is fairly simple for a regular joe like myself. 

I think H&R Block is around $100, but I could be way off on that.

We use TurboTax-- so easy. ?Used to take mine to H&R Block, but it was more of PITA than TurboTax

We used to spend around $150 for our taxes, but I did them last year myself and it was so worth it. I just hate paying someone so much for so little work.

We pay an accountant $110.

I use Turbo Tax, it walks you through everything.   We spent $225 on taxes the year we bought a house and got married, never again!  The accountant asked us all the same questions and we had to gather everything (of course) and I think there is something I might be missing.  It costs a little over $40 for both federal and NY state using turbo tax.

I use TaxAct online. Plug in the W2s, mortgage statements, etc, and it calculates it all for you. File state and federal for $17. Done.
