Trying to break the swaddle and figured nap times would be the best time to try. First try was this morning and he napped for 30mins (which is the typical length for his morning nap). Trying again now and he's been sleeping for 20mins, but I can see his arms moving. He usually naps for an hour or two, or even three on a good day. Here's hoping this works and that we can break the swaddle. How did you break the swaddle with your DC? How long did it take for them to get used to it? TIA

Re: breaking the swaddle
I never used to swaddle for naps, just at night...... but he used to nap in his bouncy or swing. The past couple of weeks though I've had him napping in his crib & in order for him to get a good rest and not wake himself up (with his arms flying and rubbing his eyes) - I decided to swaddle him. I think he's ready though, because at night especially - he always breaks free from his swaddle. So far so good though (fingers crossed!) he did 30mins this morning & now so far, he's been asleep for 40mins.
