Our DD is 3 weeks tomorrow and just now about 7 pounds (she was just under 6 when born). I'd like to put her in the swing to nap, etc... but she seems to be too small. It has the extra head support deal and we've tried to add an extra blanket under her to pad it a bit but she still seems to sink into a little ball and get upset within a few minutes.
Are you using a swing for your newborn? Did you have to do anything to make it comfy for them? Thanks!

We have been using a swing for weeks now. Ours came with a head cushion (like your car seat) and one for the sides (looks like a sleep positioner). He does great in it. Sometimes we lay a blanket over it to make it softer.
Another thing we did was put him in it in a swaddle.

My DD is just over 1 week old and she loves this swing. She's in it right now sleeping away.
I didn't figure out that our swing could recline till about 4 weeks in. Maybe check it and see if you can recline the back, that way she wont slide down as bad.

We used our swing last week. I used extra blankets on sides of he's head for support.
