loving my new job

i started this week and am getting ready to head on to work.  i found a nannying job.  with one little boy, he is 10 months.  i get to bring charlie and the three of us just play.  it's nice!  it's only part time, but having a reason to get up, shower, put on some makeup, and go out is really good for me!  plus, the other little boy is wearing charlie out and he is napping better!  last night i even got 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep!! i was just venting yesterday about him nursing every 2 hours at night, so it was a welcomed break!!

 

well, off to "work" i go...if you can even call it that!

Congrats! I would love to nanny. Did you have previous nanny experience? I don't but I am a 3rd grade teacher. I would think that would count.Do you mind if I ask how the pay is?

i did nanny in college, and was also a teacher before i had charlie.  but if you are a teacher, i am sure you could find a nannying job without direct nannying experience!  the pay is pretty good, depending on where you live.  here in NC, i am working 10-15 hours a week for 150 cash, under the table.  i know one of the nesties in NY pays her nanny 20/hour.  so it can pay pretty good depending on where you are!! good luck finding a position!!
